Why should I have my items photographed?

Investing in professional product photography is a proven business strategy that not only helps your products sell, but it also raises the commercial perception of your company to your customers, competitors and potential investors. If your market rivals look like they're competing with the big brands, can you afford not to?

 

Isn't professional photography expensive?

From as little as £3.99 per image; having your items professionally photographed is more affordable than you might think.

 

There are other studios offering this service for cheaper, why should we chose you?

In any business there are three main branches of service; and as a client, you can prioritise any one at the expense of the other two with the businesses you choose to work with. These are:

  • Quality
  • Speed
  • Cost

While some studios focus on speed and some on cost, we feel that the quality of your images is actually the most important consideration. So we spend a little more time than most on getting your images right. In our opinion, it's better to get your images done right the first time, than to invest in stop-gap images.

 

How does it work?

It's simple: You send your items to us and we photograph them. We'll host your new images on an online gallery for you to view and once you're happy, we'll send your images to you via WeTransfer. 

 

How long does it take?

Approximately three to five working days depending on type and volume of work. We'll endeavour to have your items photographed and processed, with the finished images over to you within this time, and if we can do it sooner, we will.

 

How do I book my items in to be photographed?

There's no need to get tangled up with booking items in, simply send us your items whenever you're ready and we'll do the rest; just don't forget to include a note to let us know what you need. Once your photography is complete, we'll have your items sent back to you by courier.

 

Is there an minimum order?

No. feel free to send us 1 item, or 1000.

 

Deliveries and returns, what's the deal?

Whether you live next door or 500 miles away, getting your items to a photography studio can be a hassle. That's why we work very hard to keep our prices down so your costs are as low as possible. We never, ever make money on top of courier services and we're more than happy to arrange deliveries and collections for you. We also offer free return deliveries on orders over £200.

 

How long do you keep my images?

Indefinite. We never delete any of the images we produce so you're never more than just an email away from recovering your images should you loose your copies. There's also no charge for recovering your shots.

 

Can I try before I buy?

Absolutely. We're happy to prove how good your products can look when photographed properly, so we offer a free sample shoot. Simply send us one of your items and we'll send you a fully worked image. And whether you decide to invest in product photography across your range or not, you get to keep the initial sample image to use for your own purposes.  

 

I have a digital camera, why shouldn't I just take photos myself?

You can. High quality digital cameras are more affordable now than ever. But they're only one part of the photographic process; there's also lighting, backgrounds, composition and image editing that goes into creating quality images. And if you have a business to run, that's a lot of hassle we can remove for you.
